Harold Pascual, age 86, of North Bergen, passed away on June 1, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marissa. He was a loving father to Mitchell, Allen, Claudio, and Jody, and a loving grandfather to Leandro, Evan, Nina, Ava, Mistral, Julian, and Hudson.
The youngest of five siblings, Harold grew up in New York City and later moved to Bayside, Queens. He is survived by his eldest sister Lila, whom he adored. He and his brother Joe both served with honor in the Korean War, where Harold conducted search and rescue missions. After the war, he returned to New York City, where he met his soulmate Marissa. They were married on March 26, 1960, and later moved to New Jersey to start and raise their family.
Harold was a wonderful and devoted husband and father. He would do anything for his family. He was funny, good spirited, and kind throughout his life. But, to all who knew him, he will be remembered as a genuinely good guy. His family feel proud and lucky to have had Harold in their lives, and will miss him dearly.
Harold was a frequent donor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
