Jeanette Laura Caraccio, age 83,formerly of West New York died on July16, 2020 at her home in Seaside Heights after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and breast cancer. 

Jeanette was a graduate of Union Hill High School, in Union City, Class of 1957.

Jeanette was best known as a homemaker and mother, raising seven sons in the same home, in West New York, for over 50 years.

Jeanette was a member of Saint Joseph of the Palisades Parish in West New York. She gave of her time and talents freely and often having served as President of the Saint Joseph of the Palisades Grammar School Mother’s Guild, President of the Saint Joseph of the Palisades High School Mother’s Club, a member of the Rosary Altar Society, a volunteer calling bingo games on Thursday nights at Saint Joseph’s and a volunteer and chairwoman for many fundraising events. 

Jeanette is predeceased by her parents Fredinand “Fred" and Ethel (nee Libben) Mastropierro and her husband of 57 years, Detective Sargent Frank A. Caraccio

Jeanette is survived by her brother John of Red Bank and Lawrence of Sparks,Nevada, both formerly of Union City, her sons Peter of Seaside Heights, Anthony of North Bergen, Steven of Rutherford, Frank of Prospect Park, Michael of Bogota,Thomas of Ridgefield Park, and Robert of New Milford. She also loves behind thirteen grandchildren, Nicholas, Daniel, Christopher, Steven, Jeanette, Frank jr., David, Ryan, Ashley, Joseph, Jessica, Thomas “TJ" jr., and Tyler and one great-granddaughter Gianna Nicole.

All friends are welcome and social distancing and masking rules will be followed.
